Westin Hotels and Resorts, part of the Marriott International family of brands, is highly in demand in the Washington, D.C. area, according to Expedia.

Three of its properties landed the top spots in Expedia’s list of most in demand hotels in the nation’s capital.

The Westin Washington, D.C. City Center topped the list.

Rounding out the top three are The Westin Crystal City and The Westin Tysons Corner.

Five of the hotels are in the Virginia suburbs located outside of D.C. They include the Embassy Suites Hotel Tysons Corner, the Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel and the Doubletree by Hilton Washington, D.C.-Crystal City.

One hotel was in a Maryland suburb of D.C.: the Best Western Plus Rockville Hotel and Suites, which scored the final spot on the list.

The Marriott Marquis Washington, D.C., a large convention center downtown that opened just three years ago, is the 13th most in demand hotel in the city.

A few smaller lifestyle hotels such as The Dupont Circle Hotel and the Liaison Capitol Hill D.C. also made the list.

Expedia compiled the list for USA TODAY based on their bookings.
