At a politically laden showing of the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards hosted by Stephen Colbert, there were a large number of fine timepieces on display worn by presenters, nominees, and winners. One of the most beautiful timepieces of the night was sported by Entourage star Jeremy Piven, who was spotted as a presenter wearing the stunning Ralph Lauren Slim Classique 42 mm in white gold.
A big winner of the night in many respects was Omega with two high-profile winners prominently sporting Omega timepieces: everyone’s favorite vampire Alexander Skarsgård, who won an Emmy for best supporting actor in a limited series for HBO’s Big Little Lies. He wore a yellow gold Seamaster Aqua Terra on a yellow gold bracelet (it was hard to miss).
The night’s best actress in a limited series coincidentally wore not only the same brand of watch, but also won for the same show: Nicole Kidman, an Omega ambassador who was wearing a 1956 vintage, platinum, diamond-encrusted watch made by her Swiss partner, also took home her best actress Emmy for Big Little Lies. The series earned a total of four Emmys for the night.
